American Marketing Association
The American Marketing Association, one of the largest professional associations for marketers, has 38,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing. For over six decades the AMA has been the leading source for information, knowledge sharing and development in the marketing profession. Our principal roles are:
- Improving - Advancing marketing competencies, practice and thought leadership.
- Promoting - Being an advocate for marketing and promoting its importance, efficacy and ethics.
- Supporting - Being an essential resource for marketing information, education/training and relationships.
AAISP - the Association of Automotive Internet Sales Professionals
The purpose of the Association of Automotive Internet Sales Professionals [AAISP] is to enhance and improve the professional stature and prestige of Internet sales professionals within the automotive industry, facilitate the exchange of information among and between members, and make available program and service initiatives designed to assist members in the performance of their professional responsibilities. AAISP members are encouraged to embody the highest standards of ethical behavior and professional standards as described in the AAISP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice.

SEMPO - Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization
SEMPO Mission: SEMPO is a global non-profit organization serving the search engine marketing industry and marketing professionals engaged in it. Our purpose is to provide a foundation for industry growth through building stronger relationships, fostering awareness, providing education, promoting the industry, generating research, and creating a better understanding of search and its role in marketing.
Web Analytics Association
The mission of this committee is to work with members and industry experts to define web analytics measures so we may develop common vocabulary, definitions and standards for measuring and reporting web metrics. By recommending standards, definitions and terminology, we can collectively enable common ways of looking at data measurement and methodologies—resulting in:
- More meaningful industry benchmarking
- Comparability of results among different tools
- Better understanding of the metrics terms we all use
